Tinsley ‘Masters’ Print for Jamaican Resorts
By Tracy McReynolds Bostic
Print ads feature photos of Grand Lido resorts and drive visitors to the company’s Web site. Florida’s Tinsley Advertising said it is set to launch a new advertising campaign for Grand Lido Resorts & Spas.
The Miami shop has developed print ads that are “designed to resemble paintings of the masters” and incorporate “Masters in the art of vacations” as a tagline. Tinsley said that the goal of the campaign is to drive traffic to Grand Lido Resort & Spas’ Web site, thus motivating travel professionals and consumers to book trips to the Jamaican destinations.
Tinsley’s “Heaven has a home page” campaign includes photos of newlyweds running along the beach and vacationers lounging poolside. All ads direct readers to the client’s Web site, www.grandlido.com.
The executions will begin appearing in the travel trade press later this month, the shop said. Trade ads also will run in tour operators’ brochures such as GOGO Worldwide Vacations’ “Honeymoon Planner.” Consumer ads will appear in the March issues of Islands and Caribbean Travel & Life and Island Weddings & Honeymoons.
Grand Lido Braco in Trelawny and Grand Lido Negril in Jamaica are owned by Miami-based SuperClubs. The company operates 12 “super-inclusive” resorts in the Caribbean.
Campaign spending was not disclosed.
