If you ever find yourself in trouble on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”, make sure you save Dorn for last as your “phone a friend.” There’s nothing this guy doesn’t know. And even if there is, he’s so convincing, you’d never know it.
Dorn began his agency saga in the Motor City, working on Blue Cross, Ameritech, the State of Michigan and K-Mart at Ross Roy. From there, he moved on to Campbell Ewald, where he worked on Chevrolet’s “Heartbeat of America” campaign.
His next stop was at Lintas: Campbell Ewald, Los Angeles to work on Sitmar Cruises, Rockwell International, Bridgestone Tires and Dewey Stevens Wine Coolers. After the Hollywood chapter, Dorn wrote and directed an independent film called “Zug” (available on the video “Best of Chicago Film Festival”).
In Chicago, Dorn had tours at Bayer Bess Vanderwarker and DM B & B, where he worked on national campaigns for Gatorade, Quaker Cereals, Kemper Insurance, Hyatt, LaSalle Bank, The American Dairy Association, Budweiser and Amoco.
