Junior Art Director

A native of the Dominican Republic, Karen moved to Miami 15 years ago and enjoyed a very successful modeling career before deciding to leave the runway and take off in a completely different direction. She landed at Miami International University of Art & Design, where she earned her design degree.

That’s how we met her.

Karen’s career at Tinsley began as a studio intern where she quickly proved to be a model employee, happily tackling every project we threw at her. We knew a good thing when we saw it, and when we heard she was graduating, we brought her on board as a Junior Art Director before anyone else had a shot at her.

In the years since, she has proven to be a key player in the creative department, adding her designer touch to everything she touches.

And just like in her days as a model, Karen is still capable of drawing a crowd. Just stop by the Tinsley studio any afternoon at around 3:00, when her world-famous Cubinican coffee stops the agency in its tracks.
