While it seems like John has always been with Tinsley, he hasn’t. Prior to joining us in 1991, he worked in Public Affairs for American Express’ Optima Card Division, developing internal communication programs via Amex’s corporate TV and print publication vehicles.
In 1991, John became an integral part of the Tinsley Team, working on The Florida Keys Tourism account, with duties that involved him in the full scope of developing marketing strategies for the various District, Generic and Umbrella campaigns.
But like so many people, John fell prey to the “greener pastures” syndrome and left us for a while. And it actually benefited his overall education as he spent time at Young & Rubicam working with clients such as Dell Computers, Extended Stay America and Grand Bay Hotels in the development of marketing strategies for both the general and U.S. Hispanic markets. But he couldn’t stay away.
In 1998, John came home to Tinsley, and he’s been guiding the Florida Keys & Key West account ever since.
